This guide covers three neighbouring islands in the southern Inner Hebrides. The islands are very different in character and provide different experiences for the walker.  They can all be accessed and linked by ferry.  Walks range from 1 mile to 16 miles (1.6-25kms).  Routes featured include 6 on Colonsay including one on neighbouring Oronsay; 6 on Jura including one to the impressive Gulf of Corryvreckan; and 14 on the larger island of Islay – renowned for it’s unspoilt sandy beaches and dramatic coastline.
