This book features walk in the Exmoor National Park – an area of farmland, woodland and spectacular coastal cliffs to the south of the Bristol Channel. The 20 walks featured range from 1 to 9 miles (1.6 – 14.4kms) and include an number of walks from the South West Coast Path. Highlights of the book include the sea cliffs around Lynton and Heddon’s Mouth and the paths through the deep wooded gorge of the East Lyn River. In general this is a highly attractive area with a mass of good walks and the towns and settlements in and around the National Park make excellent bases for walking.
