The Lake District is the famous area of spectacular peaks and lakes in the north-west of England. This guide covers the eastern part of the area, with most of the routes clustered around Ullswater. the routes included are largely hill climbs, plus some lower lakeside routes. Walks range from 1.5 miles to 8 miles (2.5-13km). Routes include: Brothers Water, Angle Tarn and walks from Patterdale and Glenridding.
